SENIORS FESTIVAL
October is Seniors Festival across Victoria. In Bairnsdale our focus for the month is: –
Seniors Celebrating the Love of Art– two workshops featuring interstate artists have been organised.
The first two programs are as follows: –
WATER COLOURS – MORE THAN MONET
27th and 28th September 2023
Tutor – Sue Mulcahy
Sue describes herself as a colourist and expressionist. The activity will be available for 15 members. The course will explore the worlds and aspects of contemporary water colour to discover fresh approaches such as interpretive, expressionist, and inspirational.
Applications will be accepted on a ‘first-in-first-served’ basis, confirmed with the payment of $30 for the two days. (Sorry, No Refunds). Forms are available at Office Day 1 term three.
ACRYLIC PAINTING with KAREN PRICE
13th and 14th of October
Karen has been painting for over 20 years. Originally working with water colour, she has explored and expanded my repertoire to include acrylics, mixed media, and alcohol inks. Over two days Karen will share her skills and knowledge with 15 interested members.
This course is suitable for beginners and more experienced painters. Samples of Karen’s work can be seen online. No Acrylics! No problems basic kits will be provided.
